I joined the UIC Library in 2023 as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Digital Scholarship Librarian. With a PhD in English and an MS/LIS, I bring a strong Humanities background, along with expertise in computational approaches to text data. I have used in my own research and instruction various machine learning algorithms and critical digital pedagogy in my aspiration to mutually benefit qualitative and quantitative research methods and close and distant readings. Drawing from these experiences, I am excited to develop and deliver robust Digital Scholarship programs at the University Library to support faculty, librarians, and students.
